Tourism at Israel is its main source of income recorded 3.14 million tourist visits in the year 2013. Israel offers a plenty of sites. Israel, the Middle East countries of the Mediterranean Sea, is considered by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. It’s most sacred sites are clustered in the Old City of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock shrine Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Its financial center, Tel Aviv, is known for pristine white architecture, beaches and wild nightlife.

David Ben Gurion Airport

It was known as Lod Airport from 1948 to 1973 later the name was changed to honor the prime minister of Israel, David Ben Gurion. Due to its proximity to Tel Aviv and its location within the metropolitan area of Tel Aviv, the Ben-Gurion International Airport often referred to as the Tel Aviv international airport.

One of the safest airports in the world is Ben Gurion Airport, with a security force that includes both police and IDF soldiers. Security guards from the airport operate both in uniform and in civilian clothes in order to maintain a high level of vigilance and to detect potential threats.

No official religion country

Israel does not have constitution and yet complete freedom of religion is anchored in law. As the fundamental laws of Israel which are used in place of a constitution defining the country as a “Jewish state“, these fundamental laws, coupled with the laws of the Knesset, the decisions of the Israeli Supreme Court and various the current common elements of the law in Israel, also to protect the free practice of religion in the country.

A Gallup poll in 2015 found that 65 percent of Israelis are discovered as atheists while approximately 25 to 33 percent are found to be religious. Israel is said to be ranked in the middle of the International religiosity, between Thailand, the most religious countries in the world, and China, the less religious.

Cuisine with Eurasian touch

Israeli cuisine has adopted various styles of Jewish cuisine and the cuisine of the Levant region, particularly the Mizrahi styles, Sephardic and Ashkenazi cooking. It incorporates many foods traditionally eaten in the Middle East and Mediterranean cuisines and foods such as hummus,  falafel,  Shakshouka, msabbha, za’atar and couscous are now widely popular in Israel. The food at Israel with a slight Eurasian touch drops out a finger licking effect on the tourists.

As Tourism is the main source of income is Israel put all there effort and skills to make their tourists happy and leaves an impression which forces the tourists to plan their tour to Israel once again. The atmosphere around the country with such a delicious cuisine will relax you completely and the tight discipline of the country makes it safer and protective. Israel has the highest number of museums per capita in the world. Jerusalem being the most visited city in the world attracting group of people from throughout the world.
