- Hike along Redwood Creek Trail
You can go a for picnic and wander down Redwood Creek Trail for some time. It is an easy levelled trail, which goes along the Redwood Creek. Redwood Creek servers as the perfect path for wading when the water level is low.
- Lady Bird Johnson Grave
While waling through the redwoods, you will be able to experience astonishing things. It will be a one mile loop trail through moss covered trees, towering coast redwoods, thimbleberry bushes, prehistoric-looking fern meadows and bunches of salmonberry, and the magnificent rhododendron “rose trees” in season. - Horseback Rides
Redwood trails also offer horseback rides in their park. Kids above 7 years of age are eligible for the regular horseback rides. The duration of the horseback rides can be 1/2 hours, 1 hours, 3 hours and 6 hours. People can call in the park for advance registrations.
- Prairie Creek Visitor Center
You can stop into the prairie creek visitor center in order to see the various animals living in this area, such as the elk calf, gray fox, mountain beaver, California quail, raccoon, black bear, and great horned own. Touch table with whale vertebrae and antlers, along with kid’s nature books.
- Newton B. Drury Parkway
You can drive through the redwoods, through this parkway, past the walls of ferns on both sides. You will be able to notice trails and turnouts all along the way. You can start down on any trail, and see to where it leads.
