  • Sikkim

The Himalayans ranges are only one of the highest mountain ranges of the world but they are also one of the most beautiful mountain ranges. With the backdrop of such beauty, the landlocked state of Sikkim is truly an incredible sight to the eyes with its breathtaking picturesque natural scenic beauty. The third highest peak in the world, Kanchenjunga is located at its border with Nepal. The state is a famous tourist choice with spectacular culture and alluring biodiversity. The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok is one of the heavenly beauty and probably the most popular tourist destination spot here. The temperate climate in this part of the country makes Sikkim worth visiting at anytime of the year. The major attraction here are the Rumtek Monastery, Nathu La, the capturing Gurudongmar lake, Zemu glacier and Khangchendzonga National Park to name a few.

  • Meghalaya

Home to waterfalls, lakes, caves and adventure, if you are truly into adventure and nature than this is the Indian state that you should never give a miss. The meaning of the name ‘Meghalaya’ means ‘the abode of the clouds’ and true to that it does paint a picture of paradise amongst clouds. The state is more or less a mountainous forest region and hence you can not only expect stunning natural sights but also fascinating biodiversity. The capital of Meghalaya, Shillong is a hill station and is also known as the ‘Scotland of East’. The beauty of Shillong is truly arresting and forms one of the most scenic road trip in the country. The state of Meghalaya given its mountainous formation is considered to be geologically rich in minerals. The place receiving highest rainfall in India, Cherrapunji is another feather in its cap. Along with Shillong and Cherrapunji, other tourist places here are Tura, Jowai and Mawlynnong.

  • Nagaland

Another north-eastern state that is charming with its culture and appealing with its beauty, Nagaland is elegant and divine. Known to be one of the smallest Indian states, Nagaland has more tribal residents and the folk and culture there is equally amazing. While the origin of the place has no strong records, after the British arrival this place started developing. Nagaland has mountain terrains and the Naga Hills with the backdrop of the Brahmaputra valley. Covered with tropical and sub-tropical forests, it is also home to exotic wildlife and incredible flora and fauna. Kohima is the capital of Nagaland and one of the most visited cities for tourists. With many churches, cathedrals, natural scenic beauty and delightful culture, Nagaland is a true charmer.
